The NOMAD is an upgraded version of the MSM Star Tracker with improved tracking performance.
It is more compact and lightweight, and focuses only on tracking mode. It supports both wide-angle and telephoto lenses.
With a well-balanced setup and accurate polar alignment, users can achieve tracking with telephoto lenses, for example, around 200mm for approximately 1 minute exposure under suitable conditions.
The MSM Star Tracker is now discontinued. It was designed mainly for landscape astrophotography and wide-angle lenses, and also includes a timelapse mode for daily timelapse shooting.
For users who prioritize tracking performance and portability, NOMAD is recommended.
