If you want NOMAD to start working at a certain time, we’d recommend setting up your camera and starting the tracker in advance, then letting it run through your shooting window.
You can simply stop it when you wake up.
NOMAD can typically run for about 5–6 hours on a full charge (depending on conditions), so please plan your session accordingly.
Since it moves about 15° per hour, make sure your initial framing has enough clearance to avoid extreme angles or hitting the tripod during rotation.
For safety, we generally recommend monitoring the setup during use, especially for longer sessions.
