Objects upside-Why are objects upside-down when looking through the polar scope? Is this correct?

Yes, this is completely normal. The polar scope in the NOMAD is designed to show the sky inverted (upside-down) due to the way light passes through the internal lenses.
All polar alignment apps are designed with this inverted view in mind, so what you see through the scope will match the app’s reticle guidance.
This does not affect alignment accuracy, you simply need to position the stars according to the reticle diagram.
