Setup Instructions
1. Attach the Ball Head
Secure the ball head directly onto the NOMAD rotating plate.
⚠️ Important: The ball head must be mounted directly on the NOMAD. It cannot be installed on top of a V-mount plate to function as a counterweight system.
2. Assemble the Counterweight Arm
Connect the two counterweight arm segments together, then screw the assembled arm into the threaded hole on the ball head.
3. Attach the Counterweight Base
Screw the counterweight base onto the end of the arm.
Attach a standard beverage bottle (approximately 54 mm in diameter) to serve as the counterweight.
Make sure all components are securely tightened before use.
4. Mount Your Camera Setup
Attach your camera and lens to the ball head.
The basic kit setup is now complete.
